Mexican group Camila has a soft yet modern sound similar to American emo-pop music. The group includes Mario Domm, who has previously produced major hits, vocalist Samo, and guitarist Pablo Hurtado. Marked by gentle male vocals, and slow, yet energized acoustics, the music of Camila can be easily enjoyed by old and young alike. The hit single from their first record, "Abrazame", consistently made waves on Billboard's Latin charts. The song was played on various radio stations before the group even chose a name for themselves. It would go on to reach the Mexican Top 10 and U.S. Latin Top 30, largely helped by its massive pop airplay. The group was nominated for Best New Artist at the Premios Lo Nuestro.
