Christina Milian (Christine Flores) is a popular American pop/R&B singer (Grammy Award nominated) and actress. Born in New Jersey on September 26, 1981, she was brought up in Waldorf, Maryland. Christina Milian proved herself as a successful pop singer, record producer, dancer, TV personality, actress and song writer. At age 4, Milian started her entertainment career. She did commercials including "Wendy's" and "Honeycombs" and also played the main role in the musical "Annie." At the age of 13, she moved to Los Angeles to take up an acting career. Her significant appearance was in 1998 with Movie Surfers Show (Disney Channel). She also made guest appearances in many television shows including "Smart Guy," "Charmed," "Get Real," "Clueless" and "The Amanda Show." Milian got worldwide fame in 2000, when she performed guest vocals for Ja Rule's top hit, "Between Me and You." The track rated no.11 in Billboard Hot 100 chart, no.30 on the UK music chart and the album introduced Milian to the mainstream. In 2001, Milian co-wrote for the single "Play" for Jennifer Lopez's album ? J.Lo and it became a big hit. She also penned for "Same Ol' Same Ol", first single from PYT. Christina Milian released her first self titled album in 2001. The first single "AM To PM", became a big hit and listed no.5 in UK chart, no.40 on US Billboard Hot 100 and no.10 in the Netherlands. The second track, "When You Look At Me," also became another big hit and it reached number 5 in the UK charts. In 2002, she was selected to host MTV's most popular show, "Wannabes". Milian's first US album, "It's About Time", was released in 2004. The first single from the album, "Dip It Low" (gold certified) , became Milian's most popular hit, it reached no.5 in US, no.2 in UK, no.7 in New Zealand and it rated no.1 on world composite dance chart. In 2005, the album was nominated for Grammy Awards for "Best Contemporary R&B Album." The third album by Milian, "So Amazin" was released in May, 2006. She also released her debut compilation album, "The Best of Christina Milian" in the same year. She received the Ozone Award for best R&B Female (Ozone Magazine) in 2006. Presently, she is working on her fourth album. Milian film career started in 2003 with a leading role in the film "Love Don't Cost a Thing." In 2005-2006, she acted in three films ? "Man of the House," "Be Cool" and "Pulse." She also rated number 10 in Maxim's Hot 100 chart.
