Like other army brats Ciara (full name Ciara Princess Harris) grew up all over the placeā_"New York, California, Germany and Arizona. It's a measure of her talent and maturity that she holds it down on her own, especially on the album's break-out hit "Goodies." The single features the fast-rapping Petey Pablo and the production talent of crunk king Lil' Jon, who anointed the single with his trademark insane siren beat and considers it his second "Crunk & B" masterpiece (the first being Usher's "Yeah!") Other album highlights were the up-tempo "1-2 Step" featuring Missy and fan-favorite "Pick Up the Phone." Ciara's also returned the guest-cred favor by appearing on album tracks with Missy Elliot and Bow Wow, with whom she's romantically connected. Making up a must-see tour of young talent, Bow Wow, Ciara and Chris Brown took a blazing group show on the road in 2005 and were met with critical acclaim (remember, all these artists have yet to celebrate their 21st birthdays!) Ciara is currently finishing up her hotly anticipated sophomore disc, The Evolution.
