Bronx native Kat DeLuna creates high energy Dance-Pop with a Latin edge. Dominican DeLuna was raised with a love for singing. At the age of 14, she began school at the New Jersey School of the Performing Arts. Soon after, she formed an all-Latina R&B group called Coquette, which once opened for rapper Cassidy. Her debut album, 9 Lives, dropped in August 2007, preceded by the club track "Whine Up".
