Her follow-up, 24 Kilates kept the hits coming and 1995's El Tiempo Es Oro included her signature romantic ballad "Te Daria Mi Vida." She was offered her own telenovela, Planeta Paulina, in 1995 and her soundtrack album of the same name was her final EMI Latin record. Her years on the label, 1991-1996, are considered by fans to be her best. In 1999 she came back with a new look, less pop idol and more serious musician. In 2002 she released her first English language record, Border Girl, which made it to 11 on Billboard's Hot 100.
