About Swizz Beatz

Swizz Beatz is a hip hop artist who is largely known for his work producing other artists on his own record label Full Surface. The American musician and producer is currently working with a diverse collection of musicians like Beyonce, Mariah Carey, Eve, Busta Rhymes, Usher, Madonna, Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Cassidy, 50 Cent, Mary J. Blige, Ja Rule and Ludacris. While most of his work comes from working with such artists and producing their albums, he has three of his own records released over the last five years: Presents G.H.E.T.T.O. Stories (2002), Presents Ryde or Die (Unreleased Tracks) (2003) and One Man Band Man (2007). nnThe latter album is Swizz Beats' first solo record and it showcases his very unique style of hip hop. His music has been called minimalist and low-key, and certainly both his solo songs and his work with other musicians has been of an unusual quality that can be very underrated, not unlike much of the work of his colleague 50 Cent. His tracks do not rely on an intoxicating beat or on overpowering vocals like much of the other music produced in the hip hop industry, however Swizz Beatz comes off very confident in his own style and is sure to draw in a crowd who appreciates this 'minimalist' approach to hip hop.nnThanks to his work with so many wildly successful rappers and hip hop artists, Swizz Beatz is already known throughout his industry.
