Timbaland is a musician who was born on March 10, 1971. His birth name was Timothy Z.Mosley, but he is now a superstar in the music world under the name Timbaland. He is also a rapper, song writer and record producer. He plays a number of instruments as well. He shares many similarities with producers like Brian Eno, Phil Spector and Norman Whitfield. The songs that he writes are characterized by unique arrangements, sounds and instrumentation, all creating his own sonic style. Timbaland tracks are instantly recognizable and different from his contemporaries. nnIn 1996, Timbaland produced a debut album named 'Ginuwine the Bachelor' and the solo 'Pony' in this album was a great success. After this album, Aaliyah made a deal with Timbaland and Missy Elliott to write and produce for her album 'One In a Million.' On November 24, 1998 he released a studio album named 'Tim's Bio: Life from da Bassment' with the label Blackground Records. 'Timbaland Presents Shock Value' is a solo album released on April 3, 2007. This album contains singles like 'Give It to Me,' 'Thrown It on Me' and 'The Way I Are.' nnMosley Music Group is a record label founded by Timbaland, and is a joint venture with Interscope Records. This was introduced after Timbaland's former label Beat Club Records. Timbaland has done many studio albums with Magoo, who is also a rapper. On October 28, 1997, they released 'Welcome to Our World.' This was certified platinum by the RIAA (Recording Industry Association of America). On November 20, 2001 the album 'Indecent Proposal' was released and in November 18, 2003 they released 'Under Construction, Part II.' nnTimbaland makes a few appearances in front of the mic instead of behind the dials, and he put in guest spots on Aaliyah's hits 'Are You That Somebody?' and 'Try Again.' The other singles in which he performed are 'Get on the Bus' by Destiny's Child, 'Wait a minute' by Pussycat Dolls, 'Anonymous' by Bobby Valentino, 'She Wants It' by 50 Cent and 'Promiscuous' by Nelly Furtado.
