Are there ringtones from familiar songs you've been looking for, but couldnt find them? Well if so, youre in luck. A number of well-known tunes have finally been released as ringtones. Let me tell you about some of the most popular ones:
The tone that is causing a huge stir is Bell Biv DeVoe's "Poison". Heavy D's "Now That We Found Love" is another favorite. And one of the most craziest of all, that song by 2 Live Crew, which you can find by clicking here.

Well, it is Hunting Season, but why go all the way out into the woods looking for those cute animals? You can find graphics of many of them here. There are plenty of deer to see: White-Tailed Deer, White-Tailed Deer Buck, White-Tailed Deer Fawns, a Mule Deer, and a picture of a Deer at Sunset. If ducks are your thing, check out the Mallard Duck or the Northern Pintail. The Bulk Elk is a really cool graphic. For bears, check out the Grizzly Growling, the Brown Bears Fishing or the massive Kodiak Bear.

If you search across America, you'll find there are few radio stations dedicated to Reggae music. One thing is certain though, the Reggae sound is engrained in today’s popular music. Its influence can be found throughout many different genres.
One of the artists first responsible for making the genre popular, was Bob Marley. He broke ground with songs like "Jammin'" and "I Shot The Sheriff", which are still among the most recognizable tunes today. His sons Stephen and Damian Marley, have continued the family tradition of music making. The brothers have recently scored hits with their own songs. Most notably Damian, with his “Welcome To Jamrock” and Stephen with “The Traffic Jam”. Other artists like Beenie Man, Bounty Killer and iNi Kamoze and have been responsible for shaping today’s Reggae sound. They’ve all had songs that are both pure to their roots along with tracks that have crossed-over different genre lines.

The Holiday Season is upon us. Here are some ringtone suggestions to help celebrate the season. Just click on the titles to see which ones you can recognize…
The tone that just about everyone knows is Vince Guaraldi's Linus And Lucy. Can you tell where this song is from?
Around this time of year, there are three songs that are constant radio favorites, and they are: Paul McCartney’s Wonderful Christmastime, Bryan Adams’ Christmas Time and The Waitresses Christmas Wrapping. Do any of these ring a bell?
It seems there is no escape from hearing Mannheim Steamroller’s Deck The Halls, which is constantly played in stores and in malls across America.
No celebration would be complete without these two favorites: Alvin & The Chimpmunks All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth and You’re A Mean One Mr. Grinch which Brian Setzer does a great job with.
If you’re looking to be completely surprised this season, nothing rocks harder than Christmas songs from everyone’s favorite hair bands like Twisted Sister, Billy Idol, Dokken and Lita Ford just to name a few.
And last but not least, it seems that no other song comes close to being everyone’s favorite than Dr. Elmo’s Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer.

Now is a great time for Christian Music. Today more than ever, artists from different musical backgrounds are showing their Faith.
Michelle Williams of Destiny’s Child, steered away from the mainstream sound she was best known for, releasing a number of albums under her own name that were Gospel inspired. Mandisa, who came to fame as a finalist on American Idol, recently scored a hit with her first album, which was also Faith oriented.
No matter what your musical taste, there are plenty of artists out there to inspire you and keep your Faith alive.

Last week, Indie band Rogue Wave came to New York City. I had the pleasure of meeting them before their headlining show at The Bowery Ballroom. For a band that's playing to sold-out crowds across the country, they couldn't have been a nicer group of guys.
Their new album Asleep at Heaven's Gate is getting tons of press. With an underlying touch of melancholy, their tunes are slick and tight, incorporating edgy sounds that set them apart from a number of bands that are out now.
Haunting yet uptempo songs like "Harmonium", "Like I Needed", "Fantasies" and "Ghost" are balanced out with more etherial tracks like "Missed". Two cuts in particular, "Chicagox12" and "Own Your Own Home" are driven by interesting rhythms.
If you're looking to find some cool new music, I definitely reccomend checking out ringtones from Rogue Wave.Labels: indie

So I'll just admit it- I'm a Gossip Girl fan - but I miss my
O.C.! It was great when it was on the air. Sure the hot new teen drama takes place in my home of NYC - but
the O.C. was a magical fairy tale land of
indie music and emo beach dudes.

I was so happy to discover all the
O.C. ringtones in the Thumbplay catalog! They are all really funny and take me back.
Browse
the O.C. Ringtones. My favorites were:
Not Your Sloppy Seconds
I Had S-- With A Girl
and the classic, very memorable "Welcome to the OC"
They are so silly!

It's a rainy day here in New York City and I can't help but think about
Guns N Roses' November Rain.
Download November Rain by Guns N RosesThat was a great music video too ... remember that scandalously short wedding dress? And Slash's incredible guitar solos?
If you're getting married soon, you probably don't want your wedding played out quite like the November Rain video. If you'd like a more traditional reminder of what's in store, or you just love weddings, you can even make a ringtone of the classic Wedding March:

The late 80's/early 90's gave birth to one of the most influential Rap genres "Gangsta Rap". Music from this time period has played a major role on influencing today’s artists.
O.G.'s like Ice-T, and N.W.A.'s Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were major players in kicking off the sound. Their protégé's Snoop Doggy Dogg and Tupac soon followed, bringing the genre to unimaginable heights.
Today, their influence can be found in artists from all different neighborhoods from The Game to 50 Cent, to Young Jeezy.
For some of the West Coast must-have's, here's a list of tones to check out: Dr. Dre's "Nuthin But A G Thang" & "Let Me Ride". Snoop Doggy Dogg's "Gin and Juice". Ice Cube's "It Was A Good Day". Tupac's "California Love". NWA's "Straight Outta Compton".

November 5th is also known as Guy Fawkes Night. This annual celebration takes place every year in England, commemorated with fireworks and celebration. It's kind of like the British 4th of July. I've never celebrated Guy Fawkes day, but another reason to party and celebrate sounds good to me! I just hope that when it's time to party the Brits will

Some tunes were made for the weekend. Here are a few ringtone picks that will keep you grooving and shaking all Friday, Saturday and Sunday long.
If you're looking to keep it upbeat, definitely check out The BodyRockers' 'I Like The Way You Move', and Hilary Duff's 'Stranger (Albert Castillo Mix)'. Two tones that have become very easy to recognize are Nina Sky's 'Move Ya Body' and the famous Funkstar Remix of Bob Marley's 'Sun Is Shining'.
To chill to the latest mid-tempo jams, try Kenna's 'Say Goodbye To Love' and Pacha Massive's 'Don’t Let Go'. Avalon Superstar recently had a hit with 'So Alive', and Poetica's 'Kiss You' has already become a classic.
For tones that will help get you up from that Disco nap, The Tramps' 'Disco Inferno' will definitely do the trick. A Taste Of Honey's 'Boogie Oogie Oogie' and Donna Summer's 'Hot Stuff' are both must-haves.
We hope you all have a fun weekend!

Today, Country Music is better than ever. The past few years have brought us some of the best male artists this side of the Grand Ole Opry. For all the female artists out there like LeAnn Rimes and Trisha Yearwood, we’ve got plenty of men that can hold their own. Country greats like Conway Twitty, Willie Nelson and Bocephus himself, set the standard long ago. With timeless songs and the ability to knock out vocals in a down home Country style, they were tough acts to follow.
The new generation of solo artists like Toby Keith, Gary Allan and Josh Turner have carried on the tradition of a solid Country Music sound. While icons Keith Urban and Billy Ray Cyrus have gained popularity with more of a cross-over audience. In today's declining market, it's no surprise that Country album sales still see huge numbers. With new artists rising out from all parts of America and beyond, there's no limit to who will be next to lead the way.Labels: country
