The
College Football season is getting intense right now. Last week we saw
Pittsburg lose to
Cincinnati,
Ohio State crush
Michigan, and
Oklahoma's victory over
Texas Tech. This Saturday, I'm looking forward to watching
Georgia Tech play their long-time rival the
Georgia Bulldogs. The battle for state bragging rights is on, as these two teams go head-to-head. If
Georgia Tech wins, it will be their first victory over the Bulldogs in 7 years. Will
Georgia Tech come out victorious? I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Thanksgiving's here! It's also the time of year that our favorite
Holiday TV specials are on.
Charlie Brown and
How The Grinch Stole Christmas are just two of the beloved classics. While The
Polar Express,
The Santa Clause and
Shrek The Halls are among the newer shows getting played every year.
Peronsonally, I can't get enough of
Vince Guaraldi's tunes around this
holiday season. Vince was the one responsible for all the
Charlie Brown classics like "
Linus & Lucy", "
Skating", "
Christmastime Is Here" and the
jazzed-out "
Charlie Brown Theme". If you're a Dr. Seuss fan, you can download the original version of "
You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" to your cell.
For a real hoot, check out these
Thanksgiving tones, they're really funny!

Hailing from the great city of
Philly, 21 year old
Jazmine Sullivan has taken the
R&B world by storm. A newcomer on the music scene,
Jazmine's first single "
Need U Bad" reached number one and immediately established her as a serious artist. The protege of
Missy Elliott,
Jazmine is not only a lead vocalist, but has also written and arranged songs on her debut album
Fearless. Her second hit "
Bust Your Windows" is a vengeful song with a flamenco-inspired edge. Lyrically it's reminiscent of
Carrie Underwood's "
Before He Cheats". Check
Jazmine's hit tones
here and her video for "
Need U Bad".

Angels and Airwaves appeared on last night's episode of One Tree Hill.
Equipped with a newfound social conscience, former
Blink 182 co-frontman Tom Delonge abandoned the scatological humor-driven pop punk of his old band in favor of the anthemic, inspired rock of his new band Angels And Airwaves. While still adept at writing a powerfully catchy pop hook, Delonge infused his new project with a sense of musical and lyrical grandeur that, bordering on the melodramatic, would have seemed preposterous in the context of Blink 182. With Angels And Airwaves, however, Delonge is clearly serious about what he has to say.

Now you can get all the tones from the new
Nickelback Album
DARK HORSE before it's released! Check out all of the
pre-release tones from Nickelback's Dark Horse!
Canadian rockers Nickleback have won over enough fans to fill arenas with their heartfelt, solid songs-guitars growl, the verses are tense and melodic and the choruses explode. Singer/guitarist Chad Kroeger has a classic, comfortable rock voice, capable carrying a strong melody or shouting out the loud parts. The band took their name from Chad's brother (and band bassist) Mike Kroeger. Mike worked at Starbucks and found he frequently had to give a nickel back to customers. Nickleback also credit some of their initial success to the Canadian Cancon law, which stated that a certain percentage of music on Canadian radio had to be made by Canadian bands. Their second full-length album, The State, earned them their first gold record and featured the singles
"Leader of Men," and
"Breathe". They all charted on the Canadian hot 100 and earned the band a devoted following in their home country. With 2000's Silver Side Up, the hirsute Kroeger brothers took their melodic version of grunge rock across the border. Universally appealing singles like
"How You Remind Me" and
"Too Bad," with their huge hooks and driving melodies got the band heavy rotation on American radio stations and MTV. Though Nickleback aren't going to reinvent the rock n' roll wheel, they clearly have the chops for some classic power rock. On their 2005 album All the Right Reasons the boys seem to be taking a pause and looking around-the lyrics are less straightforward and the band seem to be focusing more on friendships, the high cost of success and aging gracefully and less on girlfriend troubles.

Get the
Natasha Bedingfield Video Exclusive for her new track:
"Angel."The English pop sensation Natasha Bedingfield has a far-reaching sense of style-her album tracks range from electro-pop to lush ballads while her voice can swing from smoky to pure in as long as it takes to switch from verse to chorus. Her musical roots grow back to her childhood, where she was part of a local Christian worship band along with her younger sister. The band was named DNA Algorithm and their sound ranged from R&B to sloppy rock n' roll, a precursor of things to come. She also participated in her local church's worship album, Hillsong London's Shout God's Fame. The aspiring songwriter chose a Psychology major over performing arts college, figuring it would add depth to her lyrics. In 2004, she released her debut track,
"Single," to UK markets. "Single" made it to #3 and suddenly all England was grooving to Natasha Bedingfield's beat-heavy pop. She followed it up with the up-tempo smash
"These Words" that went straight to #1. On the strength of her two hits, her debut full-length Unwritten was one of the most hotly anticipated releases in years. The album received such a warm reception that Natasha set her sites on the historically difficult US market and sent "These Words" across the ocean. It peaked at #17 on the Billboard Hot 100 and caught the attention of eclectic music fans with open ears. Unwritten slowly gained momentum on the charts, especially in the download market, and Natasha Bedingfield became one of the surprise success stories of 2005.
