Eminem and Mariah Carey Face Off!
The on-going rivalry between the two superstars turned white hot today, with Eminem leaking a follow-up to his recent "Bagpipes From Baghdad." "Bagpipes," a track from Eminem's recent album Relapse, featured a controversial reference to Mariah Carey and her husband, Nick Cannon. Mariah responded with the sassy hit, “Obsessed,” which is currently topping the Thumbplay MP3 charts, alongside Black Eyed Peas’ “Gotta Feeling” and Drake’s “Best I Ever Had.”
The steamy rivalry continues to intrigue music fans, who can’t get enough of either star. Eminem’s Relapse album keeps going strong, already producing several huge hits, including “Crack A Bottle,” “3 a.m.,” and the searing “We Made You.” Like “Bagpipes From Baghdad,” “We Made You” had fun with other stars, such as Poison’s Bret Michaels, Amy Winehouse and Jessica Simpson. Mariah’s Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, the follow-up to her smash album E=MC², will be released in a few weeks. Even before its release, the album has already produced the monster hit “Obsessed.”
