There have been so many great
Hip Hop songs over the years. Since it's start in the 70's,
Old School Rap has developed into what it is today, going through various phases and spawning off many sub-genres. Let me share of the most popular songs that have come out of the past thirty years...
Let's kick it off with some of the
Old School tracks:
Grand Master Caz "
South Bronx Subway Rap",
Sugarhill Gang "
Rapper's Delight",
Grand Master Flash "
White Lines" & "
The Message",
LL Cool J's "
Going Back To Cali",
Newcleus' "
Jam On It" and
Run-DMC's "
King of Rock" . Then of course there was
The Beastie Boys,
Public Enemy,
Salt-N-Pepa and so many more. Check our

Some of the best West Coast rappers came out of Dr. Dre's camp. Here are some of the top hits from Cali: "

Dr. Dre, "
Lodi Dodi" by
Snoop,
Warren G's "
Regulate",
2Pac's "

East Coast
Hip Hop has also brought us some of the greatest Rappers. Here's some of the best:
Jay-Z "

Notorious B.I.G. "
Mo Money Mo Problems",
Diddy "
It's All About The Benjamins",
50 Cent "

Since the birth of popular music, female artists have maintained a constant prescence in the music world. Throughout the decades, there are those special few that come along to help change the face of music, inspiring future generations. In the 70's, a young Ann Wilson with her band Heart emerged onto the rock scene. Ann’s voice was so strong that she was often compared to Led Zeppelin front man, Robert Plant. She paved the way for the many female rock bands that would soon follow. Whitney Houston and Janet Jackson dominated the 80's with numerous Top 40 radio hits. In this decade, many Divas from the past, re-vived their careers in the form of duets.
